RETURNS INFORMATION

CAN I RETURN A PRODUCT IF IM NOT HAPPY WITH IT?

YES! - Sports Avenue wants you to be fully satisfied every time you purchase from us and even though we inspect every item before an order is shipped, we understand that occasionally you may wish to return an item to us for either a refund or exchange.

You can return your purchase via post or visit our store in person.

For hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns on underwear (boxers, briefs, jockstraps). We are unable to exchange or refund individually personalised items, unless received faulty.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A FAULT WITH A PRODUCT?

If items that are returned as faulty, we will try and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. In most cases we will assess the item(s) and deal with accordingly. However, on some occasions it may be necessary to seek further advice from the manufacturer. In this instance please expect an answer within 14 working days of returning the goods.

Items that are returned as faulty showing signs of damage which are not the result of a manufacturing fault will not be accepted. This includes accidental, malicious, neglect, misuse or every day wear and tear related damage.

 

REFUND OR EXCHANGE?

We are happy to offer an exchange or refund on unused/unworn items returned in their original condition (tags attached) and packaging, with the returns form fully completed.

Packaging is classed as part of a product and should be wrapped appropriately so that we receive the item and its packaging in a saleable condition. If an item is not being returned due to any issue under the Sale of Goods Act and is not in a saleable condition, Sports Avenue may refuse the return or charge a 10% deduction from the original cost of your order.

Refunds and exchanges will only be given on items returned (with a copy of your invoice/receipt) within 14 days of receipt of order. All exchanges are offered subject to product availability. On receipt of the returned items and in the unfortunate case of a refund, we will re-credit the original purchaser’s credit/debit card with a full refund (excluding your original delivery charge).

Please allow up to seven working days for the funds to reflect on your account.

 

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

For your protection, we strongly recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service or a courier that will offer proof of delivery.

Proof of posting is not proof of receipt and all goods remain the responsibility of the customer until they are received back by Sports Avenue. Please be aware that all returns postage is payable by the customer.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

If you are outside Europe it is extremely important to declare the goods as 'returned for refund goods' on the customs declaration as Sports Avenue will not be held liable for any import duties. If this instruction is not carried out, the cost of any customs duties may be deducted from your refund value or the item may be returned back to you at your cost.

Please note that overseas customers will be liable for any shipping costs for exchanges.

 

CANCELLING AN ITEM

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order.

To cancel your order, please confirm the cancellation in writing via email to info@sportsavenue.co.uk within 7 days.

If your order has already been despatched, please follow the returns procedure above.

This Returns policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
