RETURNS AND REFUNDS
At Sports Avenue, we offer a very fair Returns Policy. We do our best to ensure all our customers at Sports Avenue have a happy shopping experience with us and offer you complete peace of mind when buying products from our website.
CAN I RETURN A PRODUCT?
Yes! – we want our customers to be happy with their purchases and although we put our orders through a rigorous inspection before any order is shipped, we understand that occasionally you may wish to return an item to us, for either a refund or exchange.
We ensure your satisfaction with your order is guaranteed and if for any reason you are not satisfied with your order(s), you can return your order to us via post or store return.
You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods you order whilst they are in your possession. If you fail to follow this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation. This applies to all goods on our website.
REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES
We are happy to offer an exchange or refund on any unused and unworn items.
Any products purchased from our website must be returned in the same condition (with tags) and in its original packaging, with the returns form fully completed and included with your order.
Packaging is classed as part of a product and should be wrapped appropriately so that we receive the item and its packaging in a saleable condition.
If an item is not being returned due to any issue under the Sale of Goods Act and is not in a saleable condition, Sports Avenue may refuse the return or charge a 10% deduction from the original cost of your order.
We have the right to reject any defective items returned to us in an unsatisfactory condition, this includes any item(s) that have been returned to us showing signs of damage due to everyday wear and tear.
For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns on underwear (boxers, briefs, jockstraps).
We are unable to exchange or refund individually personalised items, unless received faulty.
Refunds and exchanges will only be given on items returned within 14 days of receipt of your order.
On receipt of the returned items we will re-credit the original purchaser’s credit/debit card with a full refund (excluding your original delivery charge).
Please make sure you keep your order invoice and returns form sealed with your parcel as it helps our returns staff locate your order and manage your return promptly.
All our returns could take up to 7 full working days to be processed.
Any exchanges are subject to product availability. We can cancel a supply agreement, or offer alternative items, if goods ordered are out of stock or no longer available.
All description and other details provided in relation to goods are subject to confirmation by us and may be changed without notice.
All sizes are approximate "to fit" sizes and are given as a general guidance only. If in any doubt, please contact our customer service team for sizing advice.
Please note, due to changes in manufacturers specifications, designs, colours and colour trims may vary slightly from those displayed online.
Please take extra care when ordering customised and personal items like under garments, shirt printing / badged teamwear, and helmets customised with embroidery or print, as they are non-returnable for refund or exchange unless delivered incorrectly or faulty.
Please ensure you have selected the right size when adding personalisation to any of our products as Sports Avenue has the right to charge you for recovery of the goods in the event of a cancellation due to a mistake on your behalf.
Cricket bats that have been ‘knocked in’ (by yourself or by ourselves at your request), will be non-returnable and non-refundable. This includes any cricket bat that has been serviced professionally elsewhere.
Any goods (including international shirts) that have been worn, or sports equipment that has been used to play with, will also be non-returnable and non-refundable.
Teamwear items should not be washed with any type of fabric conditioner or softener. This is to ensure that there is no damage and fading to sponsor logos. If this is the case, you will not be able to return your goods for a refund or exchange.
WHAT IF I RECEIVE A FAULTY PRODUCT?
We offer a no-hassle refund for any goods that are faulty, damaged, or dispatched in error by us.
If items that are returned as faulty, we will try and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. In most cases we will assess the item(s) and deal with accordingly. In this instance, please expect an answer within 14 working days of returning the goods.
Manufacturers may offer a warranty on products, and this may vary depending on product type. When we receive your item, our inspection team will start to process your returned goods. However, we have the right to seek the opinion of the manufacturer if it isn’t a Sports Avenue manufactured item. Any decision on these matters is made at their discretion, and is final. In this instance, please expect an answer within 14 working days of returning the goods.
Items that are returned as faulty and showing signs of damage which are not the result of a manufacturing fault will not be accepted. This includes accidental, malicious, neglect, misuse or everyday wear and tear related damage. If you are not happy with your order and believe that your order needs to be repaired, inspected or replaced, then you can send it back to us but at your own cost.
CANCELLING AN ITEM
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order. To cancel your order, please confirm the cancellation in writing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of receiving your order.
If your order has already been despatched, please follow the standard returns procedure.

For your protection, we strongly recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service or a courier that will offer proof of delivery when you return your goods.
Proof of posting is not proof of receipt and all goods remain the responsibility of the customer until they are received back by Sports Avenue.
Please be aware that all returns postage is payable by the customer.

If you are outside Europe it is extremely important to declare the goods as 'returned for refund goods' on the customs declaration, as Sports Avenue will not be held liable for any import duties. If this instruction is not carried out, the cost of any customs duties may be deducted from your refund value or the item may be returned to you at your cost.
Please note that overseas customers will be liable for any shipping costs for exchanges on orders being made.
